As a marine conservation coach, educator, and Storyteller, I often-times find myself working at the intersection of conservation, creativity, and human connection.

I know first-hand how overwhelming the transition from passion to practice can feel, and how important it is to have a space where we can navigate this fully as ourselves, and on a personal level.

In that sense, the path of finding my voice within the marine conservation space has been a process that now informs how I want to support others through a mentorship program that focuses on supporting students and early-career practitioners in finding their voice, their place, and their way of contributing meaningfully within the marine conservation space.

With a background in Integrated Coastal Zone Management, adaptive management coaching, sustainable travel, and international conservation work, I have spent over a decade working across Europe, Australia, South Africa, and island communities.

As someone who has always been interested in the bigger picture, my work has spanned from facilitating adaptive management processes, mentoring university students and staff, all the way to supporting conservation teams in navigating complexity, uncertainty, collaboration, and impact.

Alongside my coaching practice, I co-design and facilitate nature-based education and storytelling programs for children, students, and local communities. I love being part of spaces that value curiosity, creativity, lived experience, and reflection as tools for learning and leadership. After all, creativity has always been how I make sense of the world, and it can be a powerful way for people to reconnect with both nature and their own sense of agency.

In my own time, I am a writer and underwater photographer, exploring human–ocean relationships and the quieter, emotional dimensions of conservation.
It is a creative practice that is deeply intertwined with my professional work and it has shaped how I endeavor to listen, hold space, and help others articulate what it means to come truly back to themselves.

At the heart of my work is the belief that (marine) conservation is not only about technical skills, but about helping people discover how they can contribute — in ways that feel aligned, sustainable to their own (well)being, and deeply human.

Through coaching, creativity, and storytelling, I hope to inspire fellow ocean advocates to show up not just as professionals, but as whole humans in service of the sea.
