“For As Long As I
Can Remember,

Writing,
In Its Various Forms,
Has Been A Way

To Process
And Connect To The World Around,
But More So, Within Me.”

In its essence, I want my photography and stories to revolve around the encounters we have in the blue space - be it with the beautifully elegant and quirky and child-like joy-instilling inhabitants of world beneath the surface, or the encounters within our human communities that nurture us.

One way or another, the underwater world provides for our souls in a plethora of ways, and I am hoping tomirror that relationship in what I do here.

Advocating for ocean conservation by expressing this awe for the marine world and its curiously wonderful inhabitants is a crucial part of my personal journey of wanting to live true to myself and my values.

Writing, to me, has always been a creative outlet through which I reflect upon and process the world around me. Over time, exploring others‘ stories has also helped me find my own voice in ocean conservation.

By telling the emotive stories behind what drives those in the field, I hope to not only help foster a connection to the underwater world but also between us as humans.

But why the logo? One may wonder. A logo that originates from my ocean-inspired jewellery business, but was also the starting point for it to become my trademark image, in different iterations and designs for each of my ocean-related channels.

It was originally created with my island home in mind, the sense of peace and connection to the ocean I feel there as the tide rises by our feet on one side and the moon on the other.

It's that serenity, that centre to self I find here - a pull towards the sea that has been with me from what seems like birth.
